As much as I'd love to be out partying and doing things I probably shouldn't be to ring in the new year, this year I am taking it easy. So I decided leggings and and my new oversized gray sweater from Carson's with a hint of color in one of my many scarves will do just fine (I'll post a picture of me in it later).
Every year my family and I go to church it's usually about two hours and I love it, it's kind of hard for a Pastor to mess up a New Years Eve sermon, but it's mostly dancing and singing and skits and stuff. It's a "holy ghost" party haha. Even though I know for a fact more than half the congregation goes out after that and gets wasted. But that's besides the point, the point is, it's generally a good time.
Usually I'd meet up with friends and we'd go to someones house and party, but not this year. I got a few offers (less than usual) but in the end I decided sitting and watching the ball drop with my family and best friend will be enough.
Besides, I have to rest up for my best friend Joel's birthday week when I get back to school, it's gonna be crazy ;)
