About Ramen Fashion

Ramen Fashion is an ever evolving idea that I actually didn't think of myself, at least not completely by myself.

One night, while at dinner with two dear friends of mine, I was discussing my frustration with the fashion industry and how hard it is to get noticed and stick out. It was them that I told them about this blog and the direction I wanted it to go in (which has changed quite a bit, hence, ever evolving).

Afterwards, my friend Aaron suggested that I may have been trying too hard he said "you know what you want to do, just do it." And that I did, I wrote this post when I first got inspired and well...I've definitely lost some steam for a bit, but I am back!
My good friend (and partial Ramen Fashion creator) Aaron.

Ramen Fashion can (and should) be different things to different people. For me, it's how I choose my outfits, how I style my friends, what garments I used in my Polyvore sets. Every article of clothing that will appear on my blog will be reasonably priced. The goal is to show how one can still be fashion forward even on a ramen noodle diet (c'mon, we've all been there). Of course, all of these outfits are based on my monthly income and what I can afford. With that said, I understand there will be people who can afford more and who can only afford less. I will do my best to take this into consideration. Some of my sets will feature more expensive pieces, however, that will only occur when I get info about a sale or something like that (for example the Kate Spade secret sales).

I want this blog to be as interactive as possible, if you all have ideas, want to give feedback, or ask a question, feel free to contact me via email at brittanydeniseking@gmail.com. I want to make sure I am creating sets you want to see. Got a hot date this weekend, an interview coming up, email me the location, colors you like to wear and even potential outfit choices and I'll be glad to help you out! Whatever you all need in the realm of styling, I'd love to help. I just ask one thing in return, tell your friends! This blog can be so much bigger than it is and as I've said before, I can't do it alone!

Lastly, I want to take this time to thank you all for the support and ideas you've shared thus far, I never dreamed Ramen Fashion would even last longer than a year and here we are, three years later! I can't wait to see where we go next and I am so thankful to be on this journey with all of you!

Best,

Brittany
