About Me

Hello all, and welcome!

Growing up I went to a private school and would drag my feet to the closest in the most dramatic fashion every morning that I had to put on my plaid skirt, white button down shirt and green blazer. It certainly wasn't the most fashionable outfit.

However, I'm thankful for those years at St. Richard's because I think that's what sparked my love for clothing. My friends and I would do the same thing every weekend, get together, go to the mall downtown and try on tons of outfits (yeah, we were those annoying kids).

I lived for those weekends. And as my friends got older, you could find me in their closets picking out what they should wear to their dinner date with that cute boy from math class, or to the Friday night football game.

All of that, led me to where I am now, a junior at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO majoring in journalism and minoring in Textile and Apparel Management (Mizzou's fancy way of saying fashion merchandising).Originally from Fishers, IN I sometimes feel like I am forever stuck in the midwest, but I'm enjoying every minute of it.

In my free time, I like to spend way too much time on tumblr and binge watching entire seasons of shows on Netflix. I love a good selfie and I truly believe sometimes, Ben & Jerry's is the only thing that can make a dark day just a little bit brighter.

I'm a dreamer, I like to dream big. After graduation, I see myself heading east to New York City to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion director for a Condé Nast publication (GQ and Teen Vogue are my favorites) or the go to PR woman at firm like People's Revolution. I'm not really sure yet and that's okay.

One thing I do know: my love for fashion, will remain constant through out all of my endeavors.
