Hit the Gym!

Hit the Gym!

Hit the Gym! by wanna-be-fashionista featuring a blue t shirt

Who says the gym is just for oversized muscle shirts and basketball shorts? If I'm going to get down and dirty (or at least sweaty) at the gym, I might as well look kinda cute right? I will be spending more time than ever at the gym this year, so I figured might as well stock up on yoga pants, like the ones above from Old Navy (I prefer theirs, they are cheaper and form fitting but not too much like their counterparts over at VS), cute Mizzou tees (my school!) and a good pair of running shoes (I am still trying to figure out what that is). Of course you can't forget a gym bag and water bottle to stay hydrated!

Whether your New Years goal is to hit the gym more, or hit the runway, do it in style!

  1. Hey Girl! Here are some good running shoe recommendations for ya - budget friendly and (I think) cute, because let's be real here, the aesthetic of the shoe has a lot to do with whether or not I'm going to buy it!

Nike Womens Lunarswift+2 Running Shoes ($60)
Reebok Womens RealFlex Running Shoes ($90)
Nike Womens Air Relentless Running Shoes ($65)
Asics Womens Gel-Rush33 Running Shoes ($50)
New Balance Womens 310 Running Shoes ($50)
Nike Womens Lunarglide+3 Running Shoes ($80)
Asics Womens Gel-Blur33 Running Shoes ($85)
Mizuno Womens Wave Ascend 6 Running Shoes ($80)
Asics Womens Gel Equation 4 Running Shoes ($50)
Asics Womens Gel Sayuri Stability Running Shoes ($50)
New Balance Womens 1400 Road Racing Flats ($100)

But the most important thing is that you go into a running shoe store and get fitted by a professional. Be honest with them about your goals and what your planning on doing with the shoes, your budget and your experience level and they'll be able to find you a shoe that meets all your needs!

I wish you the best of luck girl!
